One Brown Planet had the pleasure to help out the RE-THINK 重新思考group of volunteers, at a beach clean in Bali Province, close to Taipei. We were joined by over 400 other volunteers, and together we helped collect over 1500 kgs of garbage on the beach.
We found all the usual suspects including drinks bottles, polystyrene, flip flops and straws. Once collected, the group arranged for recyclables to be separated and taken away by the local council. Remember, we can all help by thinking about what we buy. Try and reduce or even eliminate single-use plastic, in whatever shape it comes.
